ECIIC - Committee Members
Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, GoI has appointed Prof. B.S. Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad as the Chair for the Empowered Committee for Industrial and International Collaborations (ECIIC). The ministry had constituted the committee with the following members.
The mandate of this committee is to identify thematic areas in which the country should strengthen its ecosystem for it to not only be atmanirbhar but also a global leader.

The committee members of the Empowered Committee for Industry and International Collaborations would also serve as the Governing council of the Indo-US Global Challenge Institute (GCI) on behalf of the Department of Higher Education. The council will be responsible for setting strategic direction and agenda for action, policy decisions, to review time bound progress and ensure successful bilateral cooperation.
The terms of the committee are as under:
To take forward the "G 20 New Delhi Leaders Declaration" specifically in the field of education.
To explore research collaborations and partnerships with international universities and research labs.
Any other matter regarding research collaboration with an internationalization focus.
