iCET - Committee Members

Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, GoI has appointed Prof. B.S. Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad as the Co-Chair for iCET-Indo-US Initiative for Critical and Emerging Technologies & Indo-US Global Challenge Institute (GCI). MoE has formed taskforce with Directors of 7 IITs, IISc and Chairman of AICTE as its members to take the iCET initiative forward. This team will work jointly with the Association of American Universities (AAU) led by the Prof. Barbara Snyder, Co-Chair of iCET from the USA side, the agency identified by the US Government for iCET coordination to strengthen the collaboration between the two countries.

The objective of the task force has been to specifically explore how the US can work with institutes and institutional leaders in India or vice a versa to expand bilateral research and partnership towards a strategic strengthening of the India-US relationship.
